When I bought my Ruger American Predator in the Grendel.. boxes of ammo were like $17.00....so I bought like 5 of them...
and then came across one box of 50, also Hornady....
I've shot the Grendal quite a bit playing with it and learning it and the round....
My brass is sorted in lots of 10 for the Grendal... and I keep a record for each lot on a 3 x 5 card that goes into the zip lock bag with the ammo.
All Hornady Brass, I anneal each use... neck size and then body die size them each time...
I have two lots that have been reloaded 20 times now... two that are past their 15th reload, a couple of lots that have surpassed their 10th reload...
I am both surprised and impressed how well this Hornady brass has held up... and many loads have been pushed in testing their limits...

Never tried Hornady brass yet, Starline is the only thing coming in stock fairly regularly right now. It seems to be pretty well made. It's all I've used in my 6 arc.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got 500 fresh cases all prepped and ready to load, and now 500 more on the way. This is a pretty good deal...I don't recall what Staline's price was on the last batch of Grendel brass, but they're offering Grendel basic brass for about 80 cents a pop at the moment, and this deal on 6.5 Grendel brass is much better than that.
I wonder how long their stock will last.

I hate that I'm ignorant about this, but I'm guessing that you're talking about Armalite and Alexander Arms? Inquiring minds need to know. I didn't find any on the Armalite site.

I hate that I'm ignorant about this, but I'm guessing that you're talking about Armalite and Alexander Arms? Inquiring minds need to know. I didn't find any on the Armalite site. Long gone. Scheels has Hornady grendel brass in stock. 86 dollars per hundred, shipped.
Not cheap but if you are desperate for grendel or arc brass and can't find any Starline, it's better than nothing.

When I bought my Grendel, I had a member here gift me 50 pieces of Hornady brass. Then I bought about 40 pieces of Adams Arms brass from another member. I've also been able to pick up some Hornady ammo for a halfway decent price, especially when you consider the cost of brass. So, while I don't have enough to fight a war with, I have more than I need to hunt with. I also believe that at some point in time, brass will start showing up again.
