Cruz didnt back pedal. He said and admitted he screwed up with his phrase and choice of words., …and as Tucker pointed out more than once, Cruz is known for his ability to choose words carefully, he does not screw up when it come to public speaking. As Tucker pointed out, Cruz said what he said and meant what he said, it was not a mistake it was intensional and Tucker gave him the opportunity to explain why he used those specific words. Instead of explaining, Cruz tried to deflect and to call it a simple mistake .

I am an avowed conservative but as far as Cruse….after the vacation incident at the beginning of the pandemic told me everything.
