Bought the G40 that Biebs offered in the classifieds. Haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet, but liking the feel of it. I like the frame size, shot my G21 very well. It's intended use will be handgun hunting for deer on my 40 in NE WI and think it will be near perfect for that. Biebs included a JPoint sight, holster and ammo, so I'm all set, just need to do some shooting.

Yes, a chest rig was included and between the ammo Biebs included and Ted, I'm all set.

I've handgun hunted for a long time with revolvers, this is my first semi-auto for hunting. I just need the cheap reloader in me to get used to the brass flying out!

Is there a brass catcher worth using for range work? I had one for my AR in 458 SOCOM and it worked great. Anything for a Glock?

I wish the 10mm was legal for big game hunting here. I would pick up my first 10mm.

I have had one for a couple (few?) years and it very accurate and easy to shoot well. Mine wears a Vortex Razor red dot I bought here on the 'fire. A really nice piece.

Is there a brass catcher worth using for range work? I had one for my AR in 458 SOCOM and it worked great. Anything for a Glock? Not sure if there is anything that attaches to the pistol that I'd want to use, but you do have that rail. Might be able to adapt one of the mesh bags you can use on an AR. I think I saw one back in the day that strapped to your wrist? When I'm at the range, I have a 2'x2' wood frame that has a window screen stapled to it sitting on the bench top and it knocks the brass down and makes it easy to collect. For more informal areas or standing, I have a similar arrangement of a frame with a light mesh laundry bag that mounts to a tripod. As long as the shells are not ejected straight up, something like that should work and aren't hard to put together. Probably a lot of examples on google or youtube. The EAA Witness Hunter 10mm I had would eject the full-bore shells very vigorously and was a challenge. My 45acp is a piece of cake. The 460 Rowland actually behaves pretty well with the compensator slowing the slide down.

Handgun hunting to me has always been a big wheel gun or a single shot Contender/Encore, but that dog would hunt. Someone should start a pic thread of Automatic handgun kills.
