Brian, what year is it? They did change the barrel contour once or twice. My 1915 forearm has a noticeably more narrow barrel channel than the 1916. I've never compared them to the 1928 F.
I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

On the hunt for a Magazine Carrier Spindle ( with nut ) , and a Lever Bushing, both for an 1899 Saddle Ring Carbine Serial # 1226xx , .303.
Some one snapped it trying to take the reverse threads apart by unscrewing it the wrong way.
Does any one know how many threads per inch on that one ? Made one up on the lathe ; took 2 tries to get it right ; 36 threads per inch 3/16 od. reverse threads. Still need a lever bushing but old one will do for now. Needs the lever bite trick to stop the lever from dropping if unloaded a saddle ring and a backsight.

I need a spring for the forearm takedown latch on a model 99 G. I’d appreciate getting one if someone could help me out.

Do you mean the plug screws for the tang holes? The positive stop screws work better than the headless originals. Found some on ebay. The thread is 8-40 screws

Just saw a schematic that called them dummy screws, but I think we may be talking about the same thing.

Thanks for the info. Do you blue them yourself or do they come blued? Not my auction. You have to select the size and quantity. Just don't pick the SS and they will be blue.

I've been looking for a butt stock for an 1899F (SRC) for some time. I managed to track down a butt plate for one and made a stock that looks pretty close, at least I think so. The problem is I've never seen one in person. I made mine from pictures of SRC stocks I found online. Comparing my 99H stocks to pictures of 1899F stocks, they look different ( beyond them having different butt plates ).
Anyone happen to have a SRC butt stock they'd sell? I don't care if it's broken, cut, in horrible shape, etc. I'm just looking for one side mostly intact so I can get the contours correct.

Gents, I have an EG with Stih mounts and a straight tube Weaver 2.5X. I'm looking for the correct scope cover. Did they even make one?
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

If you mean the K2.5 they did make one. I had one on my EG in the 1960's. Don't know if they are still available.
