Around 45 yards away.
Leupold 4.5x14 with the standard duplex reticle.
I think it's Claro.

I caught this guy trotting across the pasture. Even though he was just trotting, something didn’t look normal about him. Tried stopping him a couple times by barking but he just kept going. Put the crosshair on his nose and squeezed.
Lost sight of him at the shot but drove the truck straight to where I shot and there he laid. AR15, 6.8 SPC, 120 grain SST, 168 yards.
Poor thing was in bad shape and eat up with mange.

Don, very nice still life. How do you carry the gun? Condition one? And what type of holster? Any issues with the SA 35? What kind of ammo do you use? Besides that it's obviously deadly!
