Thanks !

We eat so much fresh walleye & crappie (year round), that we have lots of different preparations.

It's certainly 1 of our favourites !

Try to stay away from frying, unless the kids or visitors are eating "in" !

Nice!

I just finished off a 5 day staycation to hit the ice every day. Our ice season is short and unpredictable down here, so I always take at least a couple days off for weekday fishing when we get ice to avoid the weekender crowd. Thursday-Sunday were flat out rough, but the bite was good yesterday.

Looks delicious! I’ll be out this weekend fishing for lakers and panfish. Saturday looks like it’ll be -20ish. That ice will be talking

I think that a plate full of walleyes would be just the cure for my chronic borborygmi. It is an affliction and you all likely have it too.

Ok, Saturday, we rented a local outfitters (Temple Bay Lodge) shack, awesome experience & great day !

Unfortunately, it was really windy, so we were confined to fishing inside the warm shack.

First I have been able to get to open /load in a while.

As always a good time whe you are involved.

I like to see that you don't just eat, you prepare a meal, dine and savor whatever is on the menu.

Those dishes look to be fitting to the fish.

Nice. Love pike. Jealous. What's the recipe for mediteranean Pike?

Ice has been too much slush, rain on it here to ice fish here. Might have to raid trip to Montana or ND

I'll have to get that off Deb, that one was her creation.

Leeks, garlic, grape tomatoes, artichoke hearts, red chili flakes, herbs & lemon juice.

Roasted vege in pan for 20 mins, add fish to top & cook for another 10-12.

Garnish & eat

Not sure what a jaw jacker is, but all I use is what's pictured above.
