I have the twin to your rifle, down to the scope. Have traded the stock for an older Brown and put a Timney trigger in it.

First high powered rifle I bought - Christmas Eve, 2000, Yankton SD Walmart. $250....

These stocks didn't have any bedding and trying to bed that tupperware will suck...Don't ask me how I know. Probably better off shimming the action.

Those stocks bed easily. Ask the op how I know that. Also the ones ive seen were all bedded. Usually very poorly
