Ghost pepper chili is not a good idea for supper when you are spending the next morning in a deer stand. That is all….
Now with even more aplomb

Ahhhhhh, nothing like looking for that perfect downed tree to sit on! Lol!

Like you have time to be picky...
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

We used to hunt on leased timber company land. After having some really spicy chicken tortilla soup the night before I thought High Brass and I were going to have to replace two trees we blew the bark off.

Ghost pepper chili is not a good idea This has been my experience. Has lots of heat, but flavor is lacking.

I ate a lot of hot peppers the night before a hunt back when I was young. I was in a climbing deer stand, and looked like a contestant in a lumberjack contest coming down that tree.

An evening meal of bangers and mash laced with 3 PBRS.......at the local British pub.
The next day I'll be sent home from work in time for an evening hunt at which time the issue has passed.
How the Brits lost the revolutionary war with that recipe is beyond me.

Having a plastic bag along in my pack made a trip back down the tree from my tree stand unnecessary though memorable.
My other auto is a .45

Never trust a fart after eating chili
If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
