Can someone tell me why I can't find a safety delete for a Winchester 94 but there are tons of them out there for Marlins? Beartooth Mercantile makes a wide assortment of fake screws and saddle rings that fit a Marlin to remove the cross bolt safety but none for Winchesters I emailed them about this but never heard anything back.
Are Marlins that much more popular than Winchesters? There has to be someone that makes one for them since they are out there for Marlins. I would especially like to get a saddle ring for a Win94 like this Marlin unit:
I am willing to take a fake screw type safety delete if that was the only option. I just want to get rid of the @#$ cross bolt safety it is so ugly I cant stand it.
If anyone knows of somewhere I can find one or even make one please let me know.
Years ago a gentleman named Clyde Ludwig started offering his safety delete screw for Marlins. I bought several from him. I don't think he makes them any more or else he has maybe passed on. I just don't think anybody made any for the Winchesters. You can still get the delete kits for Marlins from a couple of places. I could never stand to look at the Winchester Model 94 rifles with that hideous safety.
I assume you're talking about the crossbolt safety, not the tang safety M94s. Here's a video how to take them out and a cheap way to plug the holes. I'm sure a machinist could spin up a steel plug to closely match the countersink and use the detent plunger to hold it in place. I could envision looking for a flat head machine screw of the appropriate size and cutting it to fit. IF I owned a M94 so outfitted I would certainly tinker with it. As to why no one offers one, probably lack of demand and/or liability concerns.

Slick. Easy fix for the ugly crossbolt. Even the first time it took only minutes.

What I did with mine was remove the cross bolt, cut the red end off, cold blued and put it back in. The cross bolt doesn't protrude anymore, but can still be used if pushed to SAFE by a finger tip or bullet point.
