Not trying to make any statements, Im just curious to know. That's how our church is. We have a deacon who sits in the room outside the church, armed. He can see and hear the preacher, the door, and the parking lot. And he is armed. The preacher is armed, and so are a few guys in pews. Not too bad for a congregation of 20 something. It all started when a couple from church got divorced and the abusive husband got extra squirrelly. 7 years later, it seems like a good idea.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
