It looks like a klysoscope

I think it’s a cool concept. What makes it interesting is that they are estimating factory ammo at $1.15-$1.25 a shot when this thing requires a bonded or mono metal bullet to keep it from spinning apart out the muzzle. Not cheap but still cheaper than 300 bo half the time now days.

Interesting, but no real interest from me.
I'll bet ammo will be over $2.50 a pop.
I never would have believed a 1/3 twist was even possible without the rifling skinning the bullet.

First - I think I agree with Digital Dan.
Second - I think Montana Marine is a little 'light' on his price prediction
Third - 8" Bbl for this???
Fourth - just a question: In order to tolerate the twist rate, will bullet construction allow for any expansion at subsonic velocities???

8.6 mm = .338”
10” twist will stabilize 300 gr in that caliber. WTF a 3” twist?

But really how quite is it sub-sonic .....300 BO depending on your suppresser can be quite smaller calibers are quieter than larger....myself for hunting big game I prefer 450 Bushmaster.....big hole to bleed out faster....

Another solution in search of a problem.
What's it do that the 350 Legend doesn't?

Isn't velocity a factor in stabilization? https://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmdrag-5.1.cgihttps://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmstab-5.1.cgiVelocity is less of a factor than most understand, but one can have bullets under stabilized and over stabilized. For example, bullets that are over stabilized will often tumble when transitioning to subsonic velocity due to excess yaw of repose.

I shoot 338 and 375 grendle through AR's, 8 twist is sufficient at my altitude. 950ps is the target velocity.

What's it do that the 350 Legend doesn't? Legend subs would be cool. The premise is to make a more lethal subsonic round by leveraging a ridiculous twist to help create wider wounds at subsonic impact velocities.

While I agree that twist has its place with regard to tissue damage, its really inconsequential without expansion at subsonic speeds, or at least much less so. Long bullets, "tumbling" was the initial desired effect of SS vels. The problem became the rate of twist required to stabilize those long (heavy) projectiles led to "pass through's" on targets where the bullet didnt strike bone. Now when you couple twist with velocity as the DOD ( army) discovered utilizing dogs ... you get the grande WOWSA! Pasture pie sums it up nicely. But I always appreciate effort....and salesmanship whichever the case may be.

The idea is increasing stress on the bullet to generate expansion at lower velocity by spinning it stupid fast.

by spinning it stupid fast. well at least we can agree on that. I shoot Lehighs, they fluff up nicely at 8 twist.
