WTH this has to do with Cribbage???? It's my favorite card game - been playing since 1956......and I'm damned good at it...
Apparently it's difficult to teach to some people?
Well - first off I honestly misread the OP, and now that I found a brain cell I can relate..
Tried teaching my wife the game but she has limited mental math skills.. I gave up early - she's just not a 'cards' person..
Anyhoo - Cribbage is not the easiest game to master right off the bat. It takes some mental agility in easily identifying the many various combinations that can make or break a hand; not to mention additional considerations of your opponent's skill and/or habits re: discarding into the crib..
I've played many different card games over the years, but Cribbage is by far the best of 'em all... YMMV...
