$1,000?!?!?!?

You taking something important, like a new driver or good cigars, or are you taking a bunch of shoes for the wife?

I have two adult children who if they have $10 they will spend $15, I have another that can take that same $10 and make it into $15. The funny thing though is that the one who is wise about spending / investing money has a daughter that can spend money faster than it is printed.

What I don't understand though is that from the time they were children they were taught the value of a dollar, how to save and how to invest, there has to be some disconnect in people who are perpetually broke or living on the edge.

No problem. Plop down a card and pay it off at the end of the month. It's the 50-to $75 k that would require a visit to the bank. Just don't want the pickup to die at some place like Watson Lake.

Wife used to work with a kid that upon hearing of pending raise would visit payroll asking for the precise amount for his next check. A $10 surprise would ruin him for a month.

Good evening to you sir, I trust all is well with you and yours.

Indeed He absolutely did.

I must say again though that I'm amazed at some folks' ability with a camera lens.

I swear I'll take photos of what is a breathtaking vista and then look at it later and wonder, "What was it that I took a picture of there?"

Call it a gift or skill or art, whichever you please, again I'm glad Sam shares his with us.

All the best to you all down in Tennessee.

Dwayne

I've got three (3) vehicles each one has "some" cash stash, not counting my billfold. Each vehicle is equipped with an emergency reserve. Why would grown men not have $1000 +/- cash on hand.

My guess, is it is about the same, if not more than, what well off people pay.

Arizona got "sportsbook" now. WETH that is. I think it's legalized gambling you can do from your phone.

There must be a lot of money in broke people.

I don't know any car dealer that'll let you charge a whole vehicle. A down payment they will, but not the entire car.
