Nothing, I mean nothing makes the Injuns happy. They are against everything. Except casinos. Ormat Intl. wants to expand the geothermal generating capacity at a currently operating gen plant in Dixie Valley NV, the Injuns say, nope it's ceremonial area and it has a rare toad living in the marshes. Going to the 9th Circuit soon. Injuns are against the dams on the Klamath River in operation for over 100 years, sustaining a wild salmon run, nope, heap bad for salmon, dams gotta go. Is anything cleaner than geo or hydro? We've already had some harsh lessons relying on solar and wind during adverse weather events...don't they need reliable power at the casino?

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

To some of them, the entire US is 'sacred ground'. Their pagan religions worship nature, not God, so anything and everything is considered sacred.

Holy schidt yes, did you see the videos of the mess the 'protectors of mother earth' left there? Looked worse than Haiti on a bad day.

Whatever you think of native Americans and what political sides you choose, you may want to rethink that type of name calling.

And it is only going to get worse with the current Sec'y Of Interior, Deb Haaland. Her bio is alarming to say the least.

It seems to take some skill and serious thought for folks to understand fundamental differences among ethnic and racial values and behaviors - and the effects of those across time.

Since the beginning of recorded time, there is not much new with regard to clash of cultures and "social" values.

In this country, most such factors did not become manifest until the 1600s or so. Which folks have learned the most about how to accommodate and take advantage of the cultural differences?

What is worthy of respect in this regard?

Even Geronimo couldn't slip through the hills and mountains when the U.S. Army started using heliographs to pinpoint their location. Stone age tribes never had a chance.

Look, sorry Indians, but you lost. Accept your loss so we don't have to bow up and finish your sorry, loser asses off. Yes, life may kinda suck for you. Next time, don't lose...

(of course, the REAL reality is that when you lose to AMERICA, you actually win, so there IS that...)

For a second, I thought I stumbled across one of my old posts when I read your response, Jorge.
