I would love to find the folks a generator that would run their camper.

Gotta be light and quiet.

Yamaha 2400ishc is the smallest, lightest that I could find that will start my ac and microwave. These are super cool because they only idle up as much as needed and DO NOT idle up when you start the microwave or ac. They idle up after a couple seconds. The big amp draw goes to a capacitor bank in the generator.

I spent 34 days in my trailer and between my tw200 getting 21 miles on it every day and the generator running morning and nights to charge the batts, cook...etc, I used less than 10 gallons of gas.

Hmm

Got a link? I can’t find anything regarding that model having a capacitor bank. Seems like a great idea.

The bank smooths the load so much that is seems unnatural.

Only time will tell how well they hold up, but I bought 2 of these about a year ago. They weigh about 50 lbs each and so far start on the 1st pull of the rope. One will run everything in my small travel trailer except the AC. I can't have anything else running with the microwave on. But 2 can be connected and they will run my AC. I'm thinking I only paid a little over $300 each so they have gone up. But at the time 2 of these were about 1/2 the cost of one Honda.

You can buy straight from WEN's website for the same price with free shipping and no state tax. https://wenproducts.com/

I bought one from them back a few weeks before Christmas but I got the next size up, the 56225i (2250 watts surge). https://wenproducts.com/collections/deals

They also have open frame 4000 watt (surge) inverter model, 'RV ready', the GN400i, current price - $383.91 https://wenproducts.com/products/4000-watt-open-frame-inverter-generator

Strongly recommend getting the magnetic dipstick WEN sells, too, priced just short of $10.
