OP midnightson Campfire Regular M Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 753 Florida	I’m considering a Chiappa ‘92 from Midway USA. Is the front sight easily replaceable? I.e. is it dovetailed in? I’d like to replace it with either a gold bead or globe. Thanks.

castnblast Campfire Regular C Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 2,325 Saskatchewan, Canada	Depends on the exact model. The octagon models are dovetailed = easy. Mine is a carbine, 20" Round barrel .44 mag. The front sight is a blade pinned into a post that is integral with the barrel, perhaps soldered on. Not easy.
