Great news!!!

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

With the price and or non-availability of smokeless components and as much as I like to shoot ,I am thinking of adding some flintlock weapons to the household. Looks like shooting flintlocks could be fun. I already mold bullets for a few rifles and have a very good supply of lead.

Have there been any updates? It's min- March 2023 and still no powder!

I hope the delay is associated with powder improvements to match or surpass Swiss!

Any word on the new primer plant in TX?

Haven’t seen anything on the east coast. Schuetzen powder and Cci small rifle and small pistol primers are available.

The chairman of Estes was on another forum a couple of weeks back that they were still planning to get powder shipped soon.
The primer thing in texas is still in the works, have seen a tube video on those, but the small pistol primers they showed on that were marked for commercial use only.
My rifles say they don't need to change anything with OE to be a better powder than Swiss.

I still have a few pounds of KIK left, but I would switch to OE in a heartbeat if I could find some.
There's times I am really glad I didn't go bigger than .45, 2 1/10"! grin
