I cannot get enough downward elevation adjustment. I put a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 on my Bergera BMR .22LR. windage adjustment is ok. Problem is it is shooting about 6" high and I cannot get any more down ward adjustments on the elevation knob. It is dialed down as far as it will go. Scope is mounted in Leupold rings that appear to be low model. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I thinking these are mounted in a grooved receiver. A little shim stock in one ring will probably fix your problem. If you had bases same thing. A little shim under one base.

Shim under scope on the bottom of the front ring.

It’s been so long since I’ve shimmed one it would be trial and arrow for me. If you have a means to bore sight your rifle it should be easy to tell if you shimmed the correct ring. Or you can ask in the gunsmith section. Those guys probably do it all the time. Hasbeen

Burris signature rings and the offset insert kit. That’s my pick.

If the rifle is shooting high you want to raise the front of the scope so that it is pointing where your rifle is shooting. Shim under the front ring. I cut my shims from a beer or soda can. you may to put a couple under there. Also, you can try to reverse your rings. I just looked up your rifle and it comes with a 30 MOA rail. If the rail is not integral to the receiver,. Try reversing that. It could be that rifle is intended for long range shooting. Those Burris Signature ring with the inserts work well. I used them on one .22 because I ran out of elevation and I wanted it to shoot longer ranges.

Burris signature rings and the offset insert kit. That’s my pick. I agree. Go with the Signature rings and offset kit. here's no risk of putting your scope tube in a bind with the Signature rings.

That thing comes with a 30MOA rail on it, correct? That’s going to eat up your elevation adjustment pretty quickly.
Another vote for the Burris rings, the XTRs with inserts if in your budget range, or another scope with lots of MOA or Mils on tap. What’s the total available on the Conquest, maybe 60 MOA, end to end?
What fresh Hell is this?

i'd think rear ring for the shim. so the scope is pointed downhill. Big Ed That would make it shoot higher. Shim the front to shoot lower
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Pappy you are correct When I hit to looking at it (after I made shims for it) I saw that it had 30 MOA bases That was the problem Silver lining is that you guys taught me how to build shims out of a coke can AND it worked!!’ Always like learning a new trick.

Bergara lists a 0 can't rail as a part you can buy. Doesn't seem very expensive if you can find one in stock.
