This guy does some real work with his trucks and gives his reasons for bailing out of diesels. He does a lot of his own service and repairs. He's no lightweight when it comes to diesels.

Good info. Any updates on the 7.3 gas engine from people that have one?
I bought a 2022 F250 Tremor with the 7.3 gas with the 4.30 rear end. Picked it up on 1/27/22 and have just shy of 4,000 miles on it. I’m getting 14.6 on the highway at about 65-70mph if the road if pretty flat. The truck is a beast.

It seems like Ford detuned them too much for economy, but the pickup versions seem to be good still...though high idle times are always an issue. F(_)CKING BEAN COUNTERS!

I ordered a 24 Lariat F350 crew cab with the 7.3 back in July. It was finally built and I should pick it up in a few days. Went with 4:30 gears as I plan on swapping out the stock tires with 35’s within a couple of weeks. I’ll post an update in a couple of months
