In the 375 the 270 TSX has been the overwhelming favorite in our brown bear camps for over 10 years.
Our Zim PH also recommended them for Cape buffalo

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is not effective has either not used one, or else is unwittingly commenting on their marksmanship.

I started using 270gr Barnes X back in 2000. Since then, the TSX. Both of them shot incredible groups in my mod 700. I have taken that gun on almost every trip to Africa (12 times). Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia, SA, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. It’s been to Europe with me twice for Brown Bear and Pigs and deer here. I love that bullet and that caliber.

There are bullets as good as the TSX, but I’d be hard pressed to find one significantly better.
