Got a great buy on nosler balistic tip 100g for the 6.5 creed I bought for my grandson. Any positive-negative experiences with these?

I loaded them for my son, in his 260 when he started hunting deer. They worked well.

I prefer the accubonds, but the balistic tips are good too.

I loaded them up in a 6.5 Grendel at 2600 fps. Did great for the kids on 2 deer this year out to 250 yards. 5 Deer in the past 3 seasons with that load.

not in the 6.5 but i run the 100 ballistic tip out of my 257 weatherby and its bad medicine for whitetails. As castle said it usually folds them pretty quick

I use them in my 260 (about like a CM ) and they drop deer light lighting hit them.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Deer and pigs aren’t hard to kill, it’s all about where you hit them.

An attorney that I used to swap lies and loading supplies with used to use them in his sporterized 6.5 krag for deer. I know he liked them real well.

I’ve used them in my 260, along with the 120’s. I killed deer, coyotes, and hogs with both, and I really could not tell if one was more effective than the other. Equally good.

Started using them in a reduced load for a .260 this year and like them a lot. I’ve been having trouble finding more so congrats on finding a good deal on them!

i feel when we talk deer not all deer are equal smaller deer do die easier most of the time but bigger whitetail bucks up north during the rutt sometimes can be tuff to kill . we use a better bullet like a Nosler Partition ,Swift A-Frame other good choices are Barnes bullet , a good Hornady bullet or Hammer bullets . the buck might be a once in a life time buck with huge horns that`s why i use better bullets and so does my family because i do the hand loading for them , a big whitetail buck shot can make it to a swamp or a thick forest these bucks seem to have a will to live and to hide and then die .my grandson will be using a old Remington 700 with a shorten stock 243 WIN. with 80 GR. Hammer bullets when he gets a little bigger and can use a full length stock Nosler Partition 100gr. in his Ruger #1 257 Roberts . good bullets are very important for our youth the are nervous and may not make a good shot , yes B.T. are a decent bullet for just a deer .

I used them in my 264, but I had to quit. If I hit the deer in the shoulder it would be so bloodshot that you could not use it. But if you could get one buried right behind the shoulder they would be DRT. Went to the nozler and they are not as hard on meat. YMMV

deer are very easy to kill. I have been using BT's since their introduction in the 80's almost exclusively... they kill elk too... and hogs...

Used them a lot on deer and elk in 308win 180gr and 7mm rem mag. They worked.

The only total failure in a rifle was an 25-06 using factory Core-Lokt at an large bull elk at rock and snowball throwing distance.
