What's so funny is John Linebaugh talked to me on the phone and mailed me his typed .45 Colt article in 1991.

I can't edit my original post, but I found a couple more sites worth listing:

https://www.powderthrough.com/ I know nothing about this site, but it gives a lot of data for the most popular rifle and pistol cartridges.
https://www.shootersreference.com/reloadingdata/ This site combines data from multiple manufacturers into a single database. Very cool.
.38 Special data for snubnose revolvers Some useful .38 Special data.

Great post...I'm going to have to spend an afternoon looking all this over and making a few new bookmarks. Should be time well spent!

I've spent hours scouring the web looking for data to reduce loads in my 458 Lott for plated and HCL bullets left over from my old 45-70, this has been very helpful THANKS!

Thanks, looking at some 45-70 loads, buried in a few of those older manuals.

The Hodgdon link I provided to their pistol data is dead. (Hodgdon updated their site). I can't edit my original post.

Here's a link to the main Hodgdon site: https://www.hodgdonreloading.com/

Thank you to member, HeavyLoad, for sending me these links to John Taffin's book "Loads and Handloads for the .44s" It's a comprehensive look at all things .44, including .44 Colt, .44 Rem Mag, .44 Special, and .44 Russian. Even if you don't reload for any .44's, these links are worth reading.
