I just left the hospice and they don't think Mom will last the week. She fell at the hospice Friday night and broke her wrist, fractured her shoulder, and hurt her hip real bad. the second time she has fallen there. She is 94 and her body just can't take anymore. I am very thankful for the full life she has had. The good news is that she is sure she is going to a better place.

SO sorry to hear that. I bet her hospice staff is really sorry that happened. Unfortunately, the aged, those who are on chronic roids, and cancer patiets can break a bone turning over in bed. A fall is sure to break more than one bone. I know that if she is in a hospice that they are keeping her comfy. Please spend some good time wth her and let her know you love her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Your Mom and the rest of your family are in our prayers! My prayer is that her passing will be peaceful, surrounded by those she loves and who love her. May God give all of you the strength to continue on without her when she passes...
