I decided yrs ago I wouldnt go through the pain of losing another dog.
Rather do without than go through that again.
Condolences.
Hell, one of the dove opener regulars showed up without his dog a couple yrs back, a chocolate lab that was smart and cool as heck.
Really bummed me out, and everybody else.

Dan….that’s a BEAUTIFUL picture and a BEAUTIFUL dog! What breed? Vizsla. Smartest dog I ever knew. Loved to run, full throttle. That’s what I thought. My buddy just lost his yellow lab pup a few months ago. His ex-trophy wife gave the dog a raw bone from her butcher shop and it splintered and killed the dog in the middle of the night. We were talking about Vizslas and he was seriously considering it but since he’s used to labs I think he’s going to stay with what is familiar.
