Juveniles are best since many adults are reaching ages in excess of ten yrs and longer...My son killed a banded adult female blue two weeks ago banded as an adult in 2012 on the West coast of Baffin Island,Nunavut,Canada So not a good choice for jerky since that's only what we do with them....BTW it makes some fine tasty jerky.. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/0QTP43WQ/image0000.jpg)

Montana has enacted a spring season in the central flyway this year. Will be interesting to see how things go this year.

Montana has enacted a spring season in the central flyway this year. Will be interesting to see how things go this year. they're roughly 5000 snows are already here on freeze out lake and they won't be around long on average 2 weeks and they are gone already been here a week and a half we kill hundreds of them every spring and fall in [nd,sd, saks lesser snows ] [ ny,ma pa vermont for greater snows ]

prepared properly they are great eating marinade over night in orange juice/ italian dressing
place in a roasting pan place strips of bacon on the breast cover with aluminum foil
roast in an oven @ 350 degrees for roughly 15-18 minutes per pound uncover carve and enjoy
