Juveniles are best since many adults are reaching ages in excess of ten yrs and longer...My son killed a banded adult female blue two weeks ago banded as an adult in 2012 on the West coast of Baffin Island,Nunavut,Canada

So not a good choice for jerky since that's only what we do with them....BTW it makes some fine tasty jerky..

Montana has enacted a spring season in the central flyway this year. Will be interesting to see how things go this year.

prepared properly they are great eating marinade over night in orange juice/ italian dressing
place in a roasting pan place strips of bacon on the breast cover with aluminum foil
roast in an oven @ 350 degrees for roughly 15-18 minutes per pound uncover carve and enjoy

Yeah, but even though they go to the same area as those in the central district they can't be hunted.

congrats to the young hunters

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
