Stick with th NEF if it's only a choice between those two. The MDM Buckwacka was made, I believe, by Rossi and parts are harder to come by. I gave my son-in-law one years ago, a fast twist .45 cal., it shoots heavy conicals well and he's taken a couple deer with it.
