I've been having a heck of a good time w/ it. Hopefully, someday, I'll be able to wrangle in a Chinook or something bigger than a smallmouth w/ it. So far, all we've done is a mess of crawdads my son caught the other day, after beaching it. We'll see.

A bit of a booger to use a fly rod with the mast stepped, but a lovely bit of craft, nonetheless. Can it be paddled or motored without the mast/digger board and outrigger attached?

Yeah, I don't know about downriggers or fly fishing off it! I was hoping to backtroll with those diving dealios you attach to the line.

Those are Marquesan quick connects on the outrigger, and they double as rod holders- pretty nice setup for trolling, at least for smallmouth. It worked great with my last canoe.

Raab, you can remove all that except the outrigger for motoring/paddling. The canoe is only 18 inches wide, 24' long. I think at waterline, its somewhwere above 20:1 length to width ratio- extremely fast.

Mannlicher, believe me, if I could figger that mount out, I'd do it! Right now I'll have to settle for 2 HP.
