Good morning to you my cyber friend, I hope that this first day and Sunday in May finds you well and that you're getting the weather you need.
We tried turkey hunting yesterday morning for a wee bit but got snowed out. The area we went didn't have turkeys in it up until the fires last fall seem to have sent at least a couple birds into the area. We saw tracks in the snow early last week when we were looking for firewood so went up with a call to see what we could get to answer us, but so far no birds have responded other than male ruffed grouse drumming back at the turkey call.
For sure David has been one of the pleasant surprises coming out of the province of Quebec for me. When I posted this thread nearly two years back, I'd just found him as I recall and was impressed at his frank and honest approach.
