Nice, those were quick hunts for sure

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Nicely done! Sounds short but fun. You'll have to get a license in another state.

Back when OK limit was 2, I bagged out opening day in about 30 seconds after flydown!
One flew down and stopped about 30 yards away. The second tom saw the first one flopping and came to investigate!
BANG!
BANG!
Season done!

Kinda spoils the season, but sure is a sense of satisfaction!

NOW! Break out the camera and go get some snapshots!

We have a 2 bird limit here. But it's only one per day, so...........

But, there have been times............both here and out of state..........that a bang-bang double would have been possible. If it were legal, I'd probably do it once just to have done it. But it WOULD kinda spoil the rest of the season.

Congrats, Yoder! That was a quick season for you! I'm down below the state line but they've been quiet once they fly down.

Saturday's bird gobbled one time just as soon as his feet hit the ground. Monday's bird did not gobble on the ground.

Good luck down there !!!

I hunted Nebraska one year. I had a flock of about 50 come by me in a river bottom. I had 3 tags and believe I could have filled all 3 with one shot. But I waited for them to separate so I only got 2. Filled my last tag the next day. That place was covered up with birds.

Congratulations? Personally I don’t think I’d have tagged out that quickly unless I had some ground in another state to hunt. I enjoy it too much. Maybe you can guide/call for some folks?
