For kicks, my wife and I drove to Omaha last week to see what a BRK annual meeting was like, and to see the Oracle and Charlie Munger while they are still with us. Warren Buffett stressed buying when others are fearful. That was part of the reasoning why BRK deployed 1/3 of its cash in March. Munger quipped that it's better than treasuries.
As an aside, I heard one analyst joke today that "down a little bit is the new up."

We may get to the point where every single point in market gains since Brandon supposedly "won" is erased. I think that is a foregone conclusion. Given the recent supreme court “news” this week, stuff like the stock market, 401k’s, supply chain issues, fuel prices, etc. will be of little / no concern for the remainder of the year. May as well go ahead and burn it down now and get it over with.

When I see people agonizing over food purchasing decisions in a grocery store and cringing at paying $60 to fill up the gas tank of a compact car, I am confident that pocketbook issues will be the biggest concern of most people unless the problem somehow abates.

we closed world trade for two years, let the big guys buy out the smalll guys, the worlds richest all doubled their net worth on the remants of middle class wealth( and are bragging about it) .It was sold to us as a way protect a few % of old folk from a condiition 3x less likely to kill a westerner than being overweight.
Now we are getting the bill for it and everyone is blaming everything except the elephant in the room. Putin, china, biden?.. time to wake up and smell the flowers fellas. This is a lot bigger than Liberals and joe biden. Its both sides of the fence in every country in the world.
The largest and most successful boondoggle in human history and it will change the common mans way of life for generations. Spoiler alert: wait until inflation really gets going.
