They're definitely on for the summer here. I was out sucker fishing the last 3 days, and ended up catching a lot more piddly little bait sucking channels than I did suckers or redhorse.

As usual we got a early start the catfish were biting good but were scattered we strolled along the shoreline using nightcrawlers in 2-6 fow cleaned 24 called it a day at 11 the catfish were still biting. We now have 104 in the freezer. Next week will go again and fish deeper water for bigger ones 16-18" will be the smallest we keep the rest will be throwbacks.

We started early this morning in 20 fow of water fishing 8' down casting to shore the bite was slow today we caught 8 using nightcrawlers wife caught a 27" blue cat that one is going on the grill. The others were 12- 14" all released.
