I use a slice, or often a half slice of good whole wheat bread instead. (Aunt Millies's 100%) A while back my wife began bringing home some thin dog buns evenly sliced that were kinda like an english muffin in texture. Not quite so chewy though. They were the best I ever had, but don't remember who made them, or the last time I saw them. "Chances Will Be Taken"
