Winchester SG swivels, not Winchester studs.
Pretty sure that Savage sourced 99RS swivels from Winchester.

Yeah, I think both Winchester and Savage sourced their studs from the same place. Exact same dimensions from the sets I've had, only difference is that my Savage sets have a much smoother finish on them then the Winchester. Not sure that was true for the entire time Winchester SuperGrade swivels were sold.

PS: Savage sold their swivels and studs separately, not just on 99RS's in the 30's/40's. They are rarely seen separately, but they do pop up. Seen a number of late 40's and early 50's 99EG's with the studs, the swivels are usually long gone.
