Got one for my Black Widow. Not bad

Wish hood and gripper were back an inch.
Gripper vertical location off limb bolt seems OK.
Hood could be an inch or 2 higher.

Will make an extension out of Kydex.

Quiver is plastic hood w leather on brackets ( all black ).
It will be fine.

Retired the old Delta thats been on 4 or 5 BWs the last decade.

I prefer the Lynx model, especially the older flat bar version which also had a straight bar for the bottom that pushed the arrows more back like I think you are desiring.

The Thunderhorn are nice quivers. I have been using the strap on Great Northern for years. I have one that attaches to the limb bolts on my Morrison Recurve.
I like the strap on so I can move it from one longbow to another or put it on some of my selfbows.
Good luck with the Thunderhorn.
Mike

I have 3 Thunderhorns. Two are side mounts and one Boa strap mount. All for one piece recurve bows.

Very well made.I like the side mounts as I've had them for a while. Just got the Boa so the jury is out till I shoot my bow a while and see if it holds without movement.

I have a couple Big Jim's strap on's and think it is a better investment as it's about 40 bucks cheaper and quality is about the same. It sits closer in to the bow which is my preference and I like the strap better on the Big Jim. Also easier to twist for alignment...all about personal preference.

I like the old Delta quivers but they dont make em anymore. Great Northen and Selway Ive had before.
Just wanted something different.

iMHO I shoud raise the hood a bit w an adapter. Sits low.
The gripper is fine at its location.
Dont need the wider gap, purely aesthetics.
