Yes it is... Much better than A-36 that I had been useing.. If I didn't go 1" thick with the A-36 Plate I would have swiss cheese in no time...

Thanks, I appreciate all of the kind comments... I hope that info such as this helps others to realize what is possible.. I feel that if one can shoot good groups at 100 yards, then with the right equipment and the knowledge coupled with practice can do the same thing.. Not that many years ago I thought this was either impossible or luck..Thanks to people like JonA, rost495, and others, I learned what was needed to accomplish shots on a consistent basis at long range.....

Only thing I'd add to that is 'PROPER, DISCIPLNED PRACTICE'..
....not just shooting alot of bullets downrange cluelessly..
( that thread about how many rounds do you shoot a year was amusing)

Very nice but it doesn't look like most groups I shoot at long range. Shot at 400 today with my 340 and 270 Wby with a 20-25 mph right-to-left breeze. While I'm confident I would have put venison in the freezer at that range, with today's wind and my creaky "rest", my 100 yd groups looked like that.  Gdv
