Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I gotta ask, WTF is a GILF?
"Preserving the Constitution, fighting off the nibblers and chippers, even nibblers and chippers with good intentions, was once regarded by conservatives as the first duty of the citizen. It still is." Wesley Pruden

Some have made the argument, bordering on the frivolous, that only those arms in existence in the 18th century are protected by the Second Amendm ent. We do not interpret constitutional rights that way. Just as the First Amendment protects modern forms of communications,... and the Fourth Amendment applies to modern forms of search, ... the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding. SCOTUS, DC v Heller, page 8 NO! The second is explicitly added to the constitution to protect or rights to confront the government on an equal footing! That parity extends to any arms necessary to confront our own government, and anything less is a license for them to wipe out any and all opposition should they so choose. If you read Heller and understood Scalia that much would be clear. https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/07pdf/07-290.pdf

NO! The second is explicitly added to the constitution to protect or rights to confront the government on an equal footing! If you read Heller and understood Scalia that much would be clear. https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/07pdf/07-290.pdfThere seems to be a lot of reacting without really reading going on. The sign in the picture SUPPORTS the Second Amendment and attacks the odd notion that the Second only applies to 18th century technology. Try reading it slowly and carefully: The quote I provided SUPPORTS the sign in the picture. Some have made the argument, bordering on the frivolous, that only those arms in existence in the 18th century are protected by the Second Amendment. SCOTUS, DC v Heller, page 8 So don't tell me I need to read Heller and understand Scalia. The quote was written BY Scalia and is FROM Heller and is clearly so cited. I understand it quite well, thank you. Read before reacting.

I think whats actually lacking is objectivity and intellectual honesty. People see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear. They listen or read in order to respond with a set of preconceived notions instead of rebutting arguments or statements with reason and clarity. Reality and truth seldom play into it.

My wife hates that I can read something real fast and still tell her all the highlights. I also can’t hear her if I’m reading. That also pisses her off. Its called comprehension. Edk

It’s called focus! Also known in aviation as compartmentalization. Focusing on what you’re doing. My wife accuses me of the same thing. I have told her that if you want me to hear you, you have to get my attention first.
