Hey all, hopefully this is an appropriate first post. I’ve sent my CLR to Mr Forbes to have his treatment done to it. I’m off to choose a color and have seen CL camo pop up but pictures from old posts are missing or too small to get a good visual. Any one have any good pictures? And while we’re at it feel free post up a picture of your NULA/ULA/“melvinized” CLR’s!

honestly I went back and forth over that woodland stripe, I gotta admit I like it because for me it’s synonymous with ULA but at the same time, I don’t actually like it. LOL

I was wondering that myself, that sorta makes sense, the gentleman working with Melvin told me it was a maple and oak leaf pattern

The maple leaf and the fern patterns have always been a favorite of mine. I've had both and liked that they let you pick the colors to use on them. I'm not a "camo" guy but really like those two.

That said, all I have left now are a solid black and a brown with black stripes. The stripes are almost a NULA trademark.

Considering I originally wanted to keep the rifle black, I do like that black in black webbing

Thanks. I told Melvin I was going to hunt this one mostly in pines and thicket and to surprise me. So there's the reason for the green camo.

If you send it soon he may as they’re still in a transition period of sorts but not sure when the acquisition will be complete. Melvin and Zach the gentleman working there are currently still answering their phones.

There are other threads on the topic of the sale that spell all of this out.

Oakster since Ed just wanted to be rude and not answer your question I will. You can still get your CLR worked on by Mr Forbes and his employees. I hope this helps.
