I always read how fast it is.
I sent back a Redfield spotting scope that stopped focusing. Just got an email back saying allow 5 weeks. That just a standard email or will it really take that long?

I think that is a standard response email. I got that or a similar one for a scope I sent in couple months ago. Had a new replacement within three weeks.

I have had one come back in 3 weeks and I have had one come back over 10 weeks. That was before covid. Probably a roll of the dice now.

I just got the same '5' week response to one I sent in. Guess we'll see. First time I've ever had to send one back.

I guess I'm behind the times. I thought Leupold issued a statement saying they wouldn't work on Redfield since they were discontinued???

IMHO it took something bigger than a .243 to get em to settle.

Varmint cartridges had one tapping turrets when zeroing.

Have sent 4 back for warranty and the last two were quoted at 5 weeks. Got em back a week or so before that.

No probs after

I sent a scope in for service about 10 days ago, took 3-4 days after they received it to send the email that it would be 5-6 weeks, next day they sent email showing they are shipping a replacement. Guess im getting a new vx3hd cds zl in 2.5-8. Think it may be too short to mount on my 77 hawkeye whelen, so it’ll prolly show up in the classifieds.
