I think itβs our 15 or 16 day already this year of 100 degree plus days. Most of then have been 103 up to 107.
Cold Front coming tonight or in the morning.
Supposed to be a high of 78 tomorrow with chances of rain for the next 3 or 4 days.
Big massive wildfire just south of my old Hometown.
About 30 or more homes destroyed. That's the "Coconut Fire" if you're talking about the Waggoner Ranch fire. Yeppers, been unseasonably warm (hot!) the last few days.

Today was cooler here in the Hill Country and we actually had t-storms pass through dropped some well needed rain.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

104 at home today. We were between the Eastland complex and Bluff Dale fire earlier this year. Everything that turned green a month ago is brown and dead now. Iβm going to sell my calves and a few cows hopefully to make it through summer. I think I burnt my money putting out fertilizer on my hay fields this year.

And the wind keeps blowing,kicking up more dust.
We have had smoke from the fires in NM. and it had made it hard to breathe.
One day i hope we can get a little rain over a few weeks that will settle this crap.
Hope the fires get put out soon.

I spent a few days in central Oregon shooting 1minutes local rock chucks and it was 70-80 degrees then coming home yesterday it snowed over the Santiam pass on the way home.

The high today in central Iowa is going to be 54. We have been getting some rain but we are way behind.
