Found one of these at a LGS. Dont know anything about them. 900.00 dollars appears to be a 20" threaded, bull barrel, and very lightweight. Any good? How is the accuracy and quality. Appears to be a suped up 10/22 in appearance? Is the trigger adjustable?

I lusted after one and finally bought one. I did not think the accuracy was commensurate with the cost so it went down the road. It did handle very nicely and had a good trigger.

I have been looking at one or just putting a Kidd trigger and barrel. I think I am leaning towards the Kidd
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Depending on cost that is an idea.

EdM -- I used Blazer, which shoots well in most of my .22's, and probably some other cheap ammo. I shoot very little high end stuff.

Bought a Tactical Solutions X-ring and figured it’d be a good one for an accurate .22 semi. I was very disappointed and I tried several brands of target .22 from SK, Wolf, Eley, Lapua and RWS……none did better than 1/2” at 50 yds (most were around 3/4-1”). Replaced the barrel with a Kidd and got groups around 1/4” with some of the ammo. Feel better about it now but still expected more from stock Tatctical Solutions (have used their barrels on other guns and was happy).
FWIW,

That would be a disappointment Pen. Kidd sounds like the way to go for what im looking for. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I've seen a couple at my club. They have never been very impressive to me. They are pretty and light though. Why not just find a 10-22 and put a Kidd barrel on it with a good stock? You won't be into it as much as some here lead you to believe. Especially if you are smart about it and sell the parts you don't use. No need to go Kidd. After seeing the bs shidt holston went through with his, I don't think I'd go Kidd. Sorry Holston, you may like yours, but that action not fitting the stock would pizz me the fu ck off. Maybe Volquartsen if you want to spend money. I've shot against guys running those and they are pretty competitive. Always shoot well. Kind of like a Kidd barreled 10-22. To each his own, but I like saving my money when I can.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

After reading this and other reports from a friend or two that have them, I have decided to pass on these and buy a Kidd.

I weighed what I thought were al the options concerning a top end 10/22 & they kept pointing to a Kidd. Catching an annual sale helped, but probably money ahead with my Kidd. Cried once & not since.

I've got a Tac-Sol with the lightweight aluminum sleeved barrel. It's a great little lightweight hunting rifle and I've shot it with some success in Steel Challenge.
For literally anything else, if I'm shooting a semi-auto, it's my KIDD...
