Maker is unknown to me, but somebody put a lot of work into it. Whoever did it, looks like they did everything right. My only question is does the rear bridge have 2 mounting holes for the scope mounts. I'd pull the one piece off, if it were me. I like the bolt handle upgrade. Has it been converted to cock on open? Appears to have a dayton traister trigger. No mention in the op though. Also no mention of the length of pull. The floor plate has been nicely modified and straightened, but reduces magazine capacity. More modern looking and svelte for sure, making it better handling and lighter than unmodified units. This would make an awesome bear or elk rifle. GLWS on this nice piece of Americana.. I don't see too many this nice when I'm out and about..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
