I just read that the Border Patrol tactical team that finally took him out was on the scene 20 to 30 minutes earlier than what's been reported. The Uvalde police prevented them from going in. Pretty much. But it wasn't the Uvalde Police Dept. It was the School District's Police Chief, who was the incident commander. It was SOME members of BORTAC who responded. I think the team that broached the classroom and killed the nutjob was assembled on site. 3 BORTAC team members, 1 Zavala County Deputy Sheriff, and 2 Uvalde PD officers. It wasn't the whole BORTAC team. Kinda impromptu of who had some tactical training. Just say that you're guessing. It would make things more simple.
