We commissioned those too, then they made it a standard offering. We have them on the shelf.

Setterman: I bought a "fast twist" (unknowingly!) Remington 700 VTR in caliber 22-250 Remington a few years ago - thankfully it shoots the smaller, frangible, Varmint type bullets real well though. I think it has a 1 in 9" twist rate (IIRC). It is a cool gun - I think. Of course Remington Arms Corporation is "kaput" these days so you will have to look for one of these on the used gun markets. Good luck in your quest. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

VarmintGal's Imagination and Pretend, are yet again taking her to places that don't exist...the "lucky" kchunt. Hint. Congratulations?!? In fairness however,do NOT slight how "REAL" said delusions are to her. Hint. Fhuqking LAUGHING! Teeker don't get a whole lot right, but the 8" RPM '250's connect dots, whether in OEM guise or punched Speedmire. Hint. They'll Smooch and pinwheel 88's,which is a .545 BC and crushes their HILARIOUS 10" RPM 243 Win offerings. Hint. Easily the most bang for the buck and if they're on Whittaker's shelf, you are fhuqking nuts not to be making those phones ring. Hint. Just sayin'..................

Bullets matter wayyyy more than headstamps and the "itty bitty" 22-250 in 8" RPM,will simply support a vastly superior bullet, over a 10" 243 Win. None of which is subjective. Hint.
While I'd prefer a 7" RPM 223 Rem were it offered(and Teeker REALLY fhuqks up their non-CTR 223 mags)...the 8" Teeker '250 is a NASTY Bitch and rather sound in issued guise. Hint.
Just sayin'.............

Bob I saw one just the other day and damned near bought it. First one I've seen in a long time though..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Tikka didn't ship 22-250's (or even 223's) for quite a while. Shipments landed not long ago and I expect inventories to deplete soon. Hopefully shipping will increase over the next few months.
And Ruger should have standardized the twist in the American too.

If only for conversation,a 14" RPM 22-250 will only stabilize (2) of these .224" projectiles and it ain't the one on far right. Hint.(grin) Flipside being, the 8" version of same will do them all, save the one furthest to the right. Mechanics matter. Hint.................

I've got an 8 twist Ruger , shoots 88's good .. Sierra says their 90's need faster but I'm gonna try and see ... Then there is 95's .. I have my doubt on that ..

Stability is a function of length,NOT weight and a combo of lineal velocity and RPM,which is why 88's shine in said platform and not so in a 8" 223. Hint.
The 88 ELD is longer than the Sugar 90 grainer,by .070" and of course has a better BC. The 95 grain Sugar is .070" longer than the 88. Which makes the 88 VERY tough to whoop, when weighing precision, consistency, logistics, terminal effects, flight characteristics and even cost. The 90 Sugar is several steps backwards,in all of those things. Hint................

VarmintGal is simply a Lying Piece Of Clueless Fhuqking Schit and that on her BEST day. Hint.
It's only fhuqking HILARIOUS,because it is "real" to her. Hint.

“Product Code 101-84597 Tikka's T3x Lite combines high performance with lightweight ease. The T3x receiver introduces a widened angular ejection port making it easier to feed one cartridge at a time, and extra screw placements on top of the receiver to robustly attach a Picatinny rail. The Lite models are equipped with the T3x synthetic stock with modular pistol grip and forend capabilities. It comes with the classic low-angled grip. This 22-250 Remington model has a blued barrel with a 1:8" rate of twist.”

I had one of the SS T3X's 8" 22-250's when Whitakers did the original order of them. Great gun, shot 40 BT's, 75 ELD, 75 Swifts and about anything I cared to try real darned well.
If you wanted an accurate 22-250 the price on them is about as good as it gets.
