Did you look at Ramshot, Hodgdon or Hornady's site for load data? They had it online at one or more of them.

Why don't you learn to find your lands and then you'll know what OAL you can use..??

That OACL is shorter than what Nosler and Sierra, which is shorter than Nosler, used for their tests. But, you should seriously consider digging into this a little more before you start your journey. Here's a PDF with the information you seek. Might have to do a little reading though, as it's 124 pages long.

Start at 53gr and work up from there to around 56.5 gr. Keep a close eye out for start of pressure signs above 55gr. Seat so that cannelure is at case mouth (circa 3.23” COAL).

^^^ South US summer load.

Then get a burn rate chart and learn how to use it to compare data. Apply that to load development over a chrony and you'll find what you need.

130Gr Hornady SST max 56.5gr OAL 3.235
130gr Nosler Part. max 55.6gr OAL 3.285
130gr Sierra SBT-GK max 55.4gr OAL 3.275
130gr Barnes MRX-BT max 57.0gr OAL 3.210
130gr Barnes TSX-BT max 56.6gr OAL 3.300
130gr Nosler E-tip max 54.6gr OAL 3.340

Sure as schidt it does. I thought they were all the same though? And you can use the same OAL for them all? Hell, might as well load the bullet in backwards.. They will fit the mag box better that way.

I load to factory length, never had a load that didn’t shoot well enough to hunt deer and pigs to 300 yds

300 is pretty close range.. I could throw something together with my eyes closed to work at that distance. If its mediocre you want, that is what you get. Some of us like better than that though.

It's close for what a 270 is capable of but it's a good distance to shoot at least for me. That is, when it's field positional or unsupported I need to concentrate and have some good form. So far I've gotten pretty consistent to 400yd but thats my limit currently, even 300yds isn't easy when I try.
