Being a NJ resident yes it sucks but customs took guns right away they were shipped out of Idaho so your entire NJ theory is out the window We all think that the boxes got put in the wrong bin or something when received anyway was a huge screw up by usps I am just glad it is over Nd there at my FFL did my paperwork today for nics check and I am out of town until monday so will have to wait to pick them up Did get to look them over and am very happy with them both in nice shape the 308 is a clip model but not the end of the world I was able to swing a deal on a 375 and a 250 they should arrive next week this whole savage obsession is a never ending story
Hahaha 99 NJ aint that bad laws suck but plenty of woods ive hunted and trapped it for 40 yrs since i been ten Been here My whole life ive learned to deal with it
Last one I sold the seller insisted and paid for overnight air. The extra $50 is probably the best money ever spent if you want to avoid shet like this.

Glad you got hold of them, had a rifle take two weeks to make it to me. I thought I was fugged, but it arrived at gun shop today. They are open on Sunday
I understand am leery of USPS, knowing these are probably exceptions, but they are memorable. I sent a certified mail, a certified check to a shop in MA. It got lost and dropped out of tracking after a week. After three weeks (my local PO was trying to run it down), I had my bank cancel it and I sent another 2-day delivery.
After the shop received the 2nd and had the item headed my way, my local PO told me it was finally delivered. Iowa to Mass, 4 weeks+, and dropped out of any tracking for 3 weeks. In my case, I was told it was probably the Memphis TN distribution center.
I don't know if location has anything to do with mishaps? My mailman told me there was a rifle for me that just wouldn't fit in his jeep. Told me to tell the clerk it was the only box in his bay. She was in the back forever. Finally came out and said she couldn't find it. I said it's a long skinny box. She put her hands on her hips and gave me the look of death, and said, " Why didn't you just say it's a rifle in a hard case? I was looking for a box, it's leaning on the wall."
you have to be careful some po people are Communists.
