Very small allen head screws fastening a scope rail. I can tell the wrench is going to break before the screw breaks loose.

I use the tip of a soldering iron, hold it on the screw for 30 seconds at a time. It doesn't usually take much to loosen up without breaking the screw.

And the sing-along would be 🎶 Ya do the Hokey Pokey and you turn the screw around…..🎵…..that’s how you take it out!🎶 couldn’t help it.

They bring parts in the shop sometimes, that you have to heat awhile with propane torch. Heat it till it smokes. Strong stuff.

That. If the AW is having issues - it's either the (cheap?) AW or the fact that it's NOT blue loctite...

Supposedly 550 degrees F. will break the bond on any kind of LocTite. Use a BIG soldering gun on the screw head, not one of the dinky little pencil type irons. Mine is a 150/300 watt Weller dual heat model which works great. I've also got one of the big 1500 watt electric irons used for sheet metal work with a copper tip 3/4" wide for the really stubborn ones. Bolts and nuts get the Victor Hot Wrench (acetylene torch).

Allow the soldering iron to get hot, then hold on the screw 2 min.

You could speed things up with the solder iron if you have some nice electronic flux. Put a drop of that on the screw and THEN hit it with the iron. Conducts the heat.
