Wet tumbled.

How long and at what temperature are you all drying brass at?

I have let it air dry before but wanting to get it dried and put up ASAP.

Sun dried.

Cheaper and effective.

I would do that if I knew what the sun looked like!🤣🤣🤣

175* for 1/2 hour works for me when I don't put it out in the sun.

If there aren't too many pieces, then arranging them on a towel and heating them with a hair dryer works quickly and well.

Done that myself when I can swipe the wifes hair dryer. Otherwise I stuff them on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at 150-175 degrees.

I do hope you preheat the oven before placing the brass in to dry. If you don't preheat first, that oven gets a lot hotter than the posted temperature. it'll go full bore heating to get it to the selected temperature and could very well over anneal the brass, ruining it.
I'm sure the old timers know this but there's been a lot of newbies get into the game and they may not know this.

Gas on 175° as that's as low as she will go.

Had the door shut but when I opened it a bunch of steam came out so the door is propped open now.

Figger I will give er 30 minutes then shut it down, let em sit in there for another 30 minutes or so then toss em on a towel to finish drying.

I've done 200 for 45 minutes before. In the summer, on the dash or back window of the car when the sun is out doesn't take long in an old dark color cake pan.

Room temperature over night. If anything remains I hit them with the air compressor and blow the out that way.

I use an old dehydrator to dry my brass.

Not a problem in AZ. I worry more that they will get annealed while sitting in my shop!

Yep, Texas sun dried them quick

Drain them through a strainer, roll em around in an old towel, lay em out on the towel overnight.

170 degrees for 20 minutes with the oven door propped open to allow moisture to escape works for me.

170-180 for 2 hours

I let the dry at room temp for a couple of days.
May try the sun thing if I need to load quicker

ASAP is the key word.

I stand them in a loading tray and use a hair dryer on them. Been working for me for 30+ years and I needed to use the hair dryer for something since I started losing my hair at 18.
