Great response time , entirely different scenario .
Could have been bad if perp had intentions of just killing .
Sounded as he was looking for an individual.
The response time was good and perhaps saved many lives .
With current climate about such a scenario makes you wonder why he was looking for this person .
Could be something tripped his wire .

JMHO- the police in and around D'ville are used
to crime because of the influx of the hoodrat
types over the last few decades.
It was getting pretty bad when I worked there
in the 80's
It's like every other suburban community everywhere
I've ever been. It starts out as the "In" place to
move to- "small town charm" , mostly elderly quiet
neighbors, little crime, etc. etc.
Then outsiders move in bringing their punk
useless kids with them and crime starts to
rise, the semi professional criminals follow,
things start on a downhill slide, etc.
You can make a loop around DFW and see
it everywhere you go.
I imagine it's similar nationwide
