I see where S&W has come out with a new 30 caliber round and a new pistol for it. Looks like Federal is the only ammo producer making ammo for it right now.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

The .30 Super Carry. Got about the same ballistics as the old .30 Luger, or maybe the Tokarev. New package for an old concept. I have yet to see the pistol, but a local pawnshop has some ammo on hand. I am not interested.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

The newish Shield Plus is a great little pistol. 13 round mag in 9 mil. Nice size, accurate, good deal with the $60 Bugout bag options. Extra mags, night sights, optic ready. Except for the sandpaper grip that's rough on the skin. Glock 43X with Shield Arms 15 round mags might be more perfect. 30 Carry won't survive.
