Iv never even seen one around here, wish they would make a 357 maxi If you can find one, Bellm will rechamber it for you for a nominal charge. Or, if you’re not heavily invested in the Max, you could just buy the .350. Good reviews on those and lots of ammo choices.

Iv never even seen one around here, wish they would make a 357 maxi I bought one and had Mike Bellm chamber it to 357 Max. Still unfired.

It's almost like y'all bought the wood and they threw in the rifle for free.
Out of curiosity, Pappy, what's your barrel length?

22”, 1-16”, 3/4” at the muzzle, a lot bigger than my .410 I think. 7lbs 5.2oz
When the China Doll comes in from gardening in the rain, gonna take it downstairs and cobble up a scope package. Plan right now is a Micro-Trac K4 I picked up.

The only thing I don't like about mine was the scope mounting arrangement, which became awkward due to the big drop in the stock.

I already have the pad setup for that. Only adds a little weight and has shell loops too.
Thanks for reminding me. Best to put that on over the muzzle end!
